family is…getting older
Today is a special day…it’s my man’s birthday!
What’s especially crazy about this is that today is his 29th birthday, and when we met he was 19…it just blows my mind to think that we’ve even known each other for 10 years!
It’s crazy to think of all the years we have ahead of us – and what’s even crazier is that one day we will be celebrating Gracen turning 29…yikes! All of this is slightly overwhelming to me. I try not to think too much about our kids becoming adults because it has been known to cause panic attacks and shortness of breath. But in all seriousness, family is about us growing older together. All the years of happiness, good times, hard times, celebrations and disappointments will be shared with each other – and that’s exciting!
So Happy Birthday, my love. Enjoy your last year of your twenties and here’s to you being a better man, husband, father and friend every year! You are the most hard working, generous, best dads I know. You not only always strive to be better, but you are one of the few who are actually achieving it! I love you more now than I ever have and can’t wait to see what our amazing, crazy future holds!

But it is also Yahoo!!! because you see what his life has produced like that little girl in the window and the beautiful wife taking his picture and that grand son being told he’s practically a Guinness….

I love this!! And I cannot believe that you Debbie have been in our lives for 10 yrs!! Thank you for loving my brother into the man that he is today and just think… in 10 more years you could have 3 more kids!! So even if Gracen is old, you can always have babies!
